Evidently, there will be a show on the National Geographic Channel on the Icehotel in Sweden tonight. Times were listed at 8 pm et/pt. If I have a chance to add anything more before that, then I will. The video above is a promo posted on YouTube. I was only able to take a quick look at the video, but one thing that was particularly interesting to me was the way that they cut the glasses for the bar. The glasses are cut by machine, which isn’t unusual, but they’re cut upsidedown, so the snow falls to the floor instead of getting stuck in the glass. I hadn’t seen anybody do this before, but it seemed like a pretty smart approach.
