ice carving secrets: Endres’ & Capps’ “The Making of Ice Art;” Going, going...
While we were waiting to check out the Aurora Ice Museum up at Chena Hot Springs this year, we went into the gift shop. There, I found one slightly used copy of “The Making of Ice Art: Sculpting the Arctic Diamond,” by Patrick Endres and Kris Capps. I bought it because I hadn’t seen my copy around lately and wanted to make sure that it stayed part of my ice library. They said it was their last one and that they were going to get in touch with Patrick and see if they could get more copies.

If Alice runs out (she had 4 on Monday), then I would get in touch with Patrick and see if he still has any copies available. When I last talked with him, it sounded like he was close to the end of his stock. I don’t know if there are plans for another print run, but it doesn’t sound like it; I guess that would depend on the demand...
