Sïku Glacier ice vodka; made with actual Greenland glacier ice!

We froze this bottle into Alaskan ice and put it at the front of our carving site. Perhaps thanks to the security provided by the 24 hour webcams, we were able to keep this bottle and enjoy it after the competition

I offer my sincere thanks to Sïku for sponsoring our team. I’d never worked with Earl, David Fong, and Al Fiel before, but it didn’t take long before we felt like a real team, with each member making valuable contributions to our sculpture and keeping each other going, even though the conditions for carving ice were less than ideal. I hope to have another chance to return to Fairbanks next year with the same team and experience again what is without a doubt the most extreme ice sculpture competition in the world while the Northern Lights dance high above our heads!

Was Sïku disipointed that they spent all that money for a display that turned out like it did? Most companies want their product to be associated with quality.

When I was checking out Sïku on the web, I happened upon this video that featured Sïku, an ice bar, AND our Sïku team leader: Earl Covington
