    Last night I talked with Jeff and verified that he was looking for someone. He told me that so far they hadn’t gotten responses, but I’m sure that will change very shortly. Jeff will also be at the NICA tradeshow tomorrow (Tuesday) and I would imagine the opening will generate a lot of interest there.

    Most who’ve been to this site before know that Jeff is the current National champ and recently led a team to second place at the World Ice Art Championships. You can also see a photo sequence of one of his competition pieces on this site.

    If you think you might be the right person for the job ( or know the right person), then I would contact Jeff immediately! This is a very rare opportunity and if it were 12-15 years ago, then you would never see this post. I would have already called Jeff and applied for the job. If you want to be an ice sculptor, then this is the sort of dream position that will save you years of trying to learn on your own. Whoever gets the apprenticeship will be exposed to some of the newest ice carving technology, learn from world class ice sculptors, and get to work with some really good people.
